Haven't been at the table very long.

Now my first thought is maybe I shouldn't have called the flop as he's bet is pretty strong betting a wet board multiway. When it came to the turn I was like well I reckon I have about 33% equity lets call it off.

I would consider folding preflop. On the button it might be ok, but there are three more players behind our action. If any of them jam the pot we cant call. Also without information indicating otherwise early position raises indicate a strong range of hands. 3 to 1 pot odds on the flop still don't give us enough to draw profitably. We cant be sure we have 33% equity on the river. We could be drawing dead. If our opponent has aces with the ace of hearts we lose our flush draw plus two outs from the open ended straight draw.

i think its a fine flat, but we could squeeze preflop as well

About squeezing? Is KQ not too good to squeeze here? Or is it a good spot because we have blockers?

blockers is one of the reasons. blinds, antes, and what probably is dead money a lot of the time in the open and the flat is another. Finally we are IP with a hand that still can flop well. If your going to squeeze, without knowing the stats or frequencies of the villains, this is a good place to start

What kind of raise size? Or are you just shoving?

Far too deep to shove I don't think you need to make it big at all, something like 400 seems fine gives us a nice price to take the pot down we really don't have to win it too often for it to be profitable
