Hey guys.I played quite agressive and before this hand i steal on SB this player and win pot after c-bet.Villain had stats 32/22 and 14,5 steal.I thought he could make 3bet with very merged or wide range.FTCB had 0% and AFotF had 35%.I put him on range something like 22+,A2+,Brdway,maybe SC he was very crazy. When he checked flop,it was very unnormal for me.I thought he could have AcK,Acx,KK,QQ,55 and he wanted to c/r flop.....do you think i played well this hand ? Or i should fold pf ? Thx

first I fold that pre cause he's not deep enough so you can call profitably. i agree that it's on the spot where you have position but you know he's gonna c bet all the time and even if you hit a Q do you want to play for stacks with QK? Your gonna have multiple occasion to check raise him with a monster. ANd here I said all the time but I agree that he have a wide range so checking like that when he's so agro on that shitty board ( for most hands ) is fishy.

the way you played it pre smell very much like High cards so when you bet he can assume you at least have a Q. he played it very easyly tho cause you bet way too much on the flop, personnaly I wouldve bet 1050-1250. That said if you were never folding it's ok and most of the time you got his range crushed. An average aggro donk will often have a pair and a club here so you can't never fold.

I guess he had A10-A6 of clubs. but it will not happen often enough to start folding those spots.

Oh and one last thing sometimes people like that are hyper aggro but it's because the table is so soft but if they perceive you as competent, you can't discard the possibility that they adjust to your range. It depends on how many hands you had with him.

I think your preflop raise is too high, most people these days are happy with 2.5x, even with antes present, as it usually gets about the same folds and gives more relative stack to play c-bets etc later. With strong hands you can bet more against non regs to build a pot.
I would usually fold to a 3-bet with KQo here but if some earlier game history makes me suspicious I may call (this also would have been cheaper at 2.5x) in the hope of stacking a player if I thought either an K or Q was likely to be good.

As played on the flop I don't mind any reasonable bet - from 800 to full pot, I would have probably gone for 1200 or so expecting to call a shove or get the rest committed on a turn bet.
