I never wanted to go against 2 players with that flop so I bet the BB out of any draw he may have. I thought I was not risking my trny if I did get called but he's risking his if he is drawing.
The two reasons why I ask is I watched 'push' and thought maybe the all in should have been pre flop and the BB said (without mixing his words lol) that I should never have bet him off that hand and we should have cheked it down. That can't be right in a single table s'n'g when i'm not risking going bust can it ?

Re-shove preflop; the btn can shove tons of random junk here, you're in a very favorable stack situation on the bubble (so favorable in fact, that the button doubling is hardly worrisome at all) and BB will typically call with only a very tight range. This is not the type of situation where a cooperation play is of benefit to you. It is, however, of major benefit to the BB.

Everyone always thinks checking it down with someone all in is correct, when in many situations it's not. The BB is just wrong.

i dont know why i bother trying to post in tourney threads that amt has already visited when hes always right and i dont evne really play tourneys, lol
