Hey guys, I am curious what sort of weekly MTT schedule you keep and why. Which weekly MTT's do you think have the best fields and the best prizepools? Phrased another way, I am looking to add some weekly MTT's to my grind schedule. I am rolled for/can take shots in most events and am sort of just hoping to bink something nice so I can jump up in limits or do whatever. I am aware of the variance of MTT's and realize I may never win a big field MTT, no lectures please
.
Right now aside from the standard sunday majors (warm up, mulligan, million, 750kgtd, brawl), I was looking at some of the smaller buy ins that tend to draw a huge field (double deuce). What other tournaments are there like this during the week I should keep my eye on, or do you all mostly just select a schedule based on time zone/availability?
Also sorry if this is super broad/unanswerable, I am sort of an MTT newb.

I personally think rebuy and cubed(1r1A) mtt's offer good value as you're deep for quite some time allowing you to use your edge more (also people spazz more) and basically any tournament that has sattelites running

honestly any rush mtt bc people fold way too much and you can get away with being slightly more exploitable bc people overuse quickfold late.
also basically every rebuy.
any decent guarnt. is bound to have a lot of value also. more so it if it is at a level where someone can use steps tickets.
and probably any "new" type of tourny like the multi entry bc people always love to try new things, even if that isnt their bread and butter game.

stars daily 90k good structure (especially on Sunday, $20 1r1 that runs on stars as well but reg heavy, 11r and 3r are pretty good to.
ftp super stack, and there is a $24 freeze out that runs pretty often
like rrumsey said rush poker, you can 3 bet so much its untrue

meh idk. you get a lot of satty players. honestly i think you edge will be huge in a simple $11 superstack ( and they usually in prime hours get about 15-17 K guarn.) or a $26 early blinds and antes which is also a superstack.and i also think there are simple $75 superstacks. i think every reg will play the big daily double. there is still value of course, but i mean do you wanna pay extra rake into the jackpot? i dont! the only way you get anything decent out the jackpot is like shipping one and making a nice score in the other. which is so unlikely even with a big edge. so personal preference, not saying it doesnt have value, but idk if it is the best.
also if you play at nights there is a $120 KO guar. on ftp that usually is close to having overlay. ill try to look the time up but if your awake and rolled it is worth checking to see if it looks like it have overlay or not.
i think the $100 cashout at midnight gets close to overlay too
need to check
i guess we should get into this way to make it easier:
when do you play and how many tables you wanna add?
i dont know stars too well bc i dont play there much

Most of my grinding is done at mixed game cash tables, but they don't always run or run inconsistently. I am looking to add a few tables here and there, mostly high tourneys. I am essentially hoping to add the tourneys that are either incredibly soft (ie the 3k GTD 7 game tourney on FT I am going to be playing every night) or have a reasonably large chance of hitting a decent score (midnight madness seems to be a good example of a high risk/reward ratio in a nightly tournament).
I've also just noticed things like the monthly Turbo Takedown on stars seems like a good value tournament. Those are the sorts of things I am looking for advice with. I didn't even know there was a saturday 1/4 million tournament on stars until I spent most of saturday poking around in various tournament filters and stuff. These are the kinds of things I am looking for advice in.

Yeah Midnight Madness has a ton of FTP and low-stake satellites (how I got to play in it) haha and the field is really soft imo and like rrumsey suggested its a decent guarantee with overlay, its only a $10 tourney though so I dunno if you're looking for something a bit more "upmarket"??

I am probably going to start playing in a full range of Sunday tournaments, but I want to cut my teeth on some cheaper ones first. I want to get some experience playing big field tournaments so I can get an idea of things like...how do I handle playing for 5 hours straight, how many cash games can I run on the side, do I need a pee bucket etc. So although I could easily do this with say, the daily dollar, I would like to be looking at a decent sized first prize given the hours of my life spent. I am probably going to be looking at the really big field $10+1 and a wide array of $24+2s.
I notice the biggest prize/pool to buy in daily tournament seems to be the $24+2 42k GTD on FT. That is the sort of sweet spot I am looking for. I also just didn't really know what the sunday minors were (the double deuce and the sunday quarter million) before this weekend. I am currently making a google calendar of when tournaments run that interest me and will probably go from there. Sadly I find it harder to find what I am looking for on PStars then I do on FTP, since I think stars doesn't need to have so many GTD tournaments...they just fill up.

Sounds like a good plan. The 24+2 are definitely super +EV (especially on the weekends), but don't forget about the few PLO tourneys that are massive +EV too. There's a 200+15 35k guar that runs every Saturday on both Stars and FTP, and there's also a couple of very juicy 24+2 PLO FR tourneys, as well as a 69+6 6max that runs on Sunday that is a must play imo.

This as well as there are 27$ turbos that run once an hour on stars that are super soft.

Can't really add too much more to what's already been said really lots of really good advice here. If you decide to go for the daily 90K the daily 40K starts just an hour before. The prize pool is little less top heavy than the 90K but there's sure to be a bigger and softer field.
idk if these run at the level you want to play at but i very much enjoyed playing a few 4 max nlhe tournies on stars
They're lots of fun and fairly weak from what i've played of them. I really hope 4max crosses over to MTT sngs something like 64 seat freezeout or 128 rebuy would be cool.
