Event 50 - $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha World Championship (Some Love for Jonas and DJ)
This is for event 50: the 10k PLO. Poker News has him as 16th heading into the break with T56,000.
I saw that Vanessa busted. Are any of the other DC PLO studs in the event? I thought DJ was playing, but I didn't see him in the chip count list (not sure how comprehensive it is though).

DJ is in it, he has 37k going into the dinner break which just ended. He is using FTSweat.
Jonas seems to be chipping up, PNews has him at over 100k.

Don't Force It
Jonas Entin and Leif Force recently tangled in a heads-up battle. We pick up the action on the flop, with the board reading {2-Hearts} {2-Spades} {K-Diamonds}. Entin checks, Force bets, and Entin calls.
The turn comes the {4-Diamonds}. Entin bets out this time, putting in 4,500 chips. Force makes the call.
Fifth street: {J-Diamonds}. Entin checks it over to his opponent, and Force makes a bet of 12,000. Endin comes back check-raising to 36,000, and Force calls. Jonas Entin turns over {4-Spades} {4-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {3-Hearts}, and he takes down the pot with a full house. He and Force trade places, him up to 116,000 and Force down under 100,000.
DJ has posted that RBK is busto, dang. Someone must have a fckton of chips from that.
Evdakov Steals Some of Leif Force's Life Force
A severly short-stacked Jonas Entin raised all in preflop and was called by Leif Force before Nikolay Evdakov raised the pot. Force called a second time.
Evdakov moved all in on the {Q-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {8-Diamonds} flop for his remaining chips. Since the bet was so small compared to the size of the pot, Force made a no-brainer call. Evdakov showed {A-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {7-Clubs} for a pair of aces with a gutshot straight draw. Entin had two pair, {4-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}, and Force had missed completely with {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {9-Hearts}. The turn {9-Clubs} improved nobody, but the river {A-Spades} give Evdakov the boss hand with three aces.
Evdakov now has 88,000 chips, and Force drops to 74,000. Entin was eliminated on the hand.

How often do you peel flops in Omaha with A hi no kicker no draw? I'm not an Omaha player but this looks pretty strange.
the action in that hand is totally wack, like many pokernews updates. jonas will probably come in to correct it
DJ still in? Just forget all reason and goof-ball yourself to victory, I have some $$$ riding on you baby!
Good Luck!!!

In keeping with tradition, I was ahead until the ace on the river 2-outed me. Sigh.
(obv we got it in preflop and i was like 45% or something but after the flop and turn i was doing great!)
