Event 40 - $2,500 2-7 Triple Draw Page 1 of 3
I just got the FTSweat text from DD:
"i have 21k at second break in the triple draw event"
It's early but, ah, um, this would put him damn near close to the chip leader:
Poker News
Hopefully DD keeps us posted and my knee feels better and I can get down there to sweat him.

Once again the updates are shafting chris.

DD:
25k chips dinner break people dropping fast
That would put him at like 3rd in chips... but he is not on the update

They dont know him at all, so you wont see him on the general update until it's nearing bubble time, imo.
How far down do they play tonight?
How far down do they play tonight?
Bubble I would think.
DD - our mutual friend JewFro just busted. That leaves one less 2-7 specialist in the field.
I've been watching Sklansky's play, he cold calls a lot on the button with strong 2 card draws. I've been thinking a lot about this, he is playing a Omaha style game; he might be on to something.
Word!
DD is #4 in chips!!

I really depends on how much chips he has. If he has a lot, the level is low enough so there is a lot of play, then it's odd. If he's in the middle, I can total understand it.
Just curious.
How much lowball experience do all you guys have?
I personally have never played a hand of any type of low only except razz
I got a kick out of this update
----
There are plenty of dubious records to hold in sports like baseball: lowest career batting average, minimum 2,500 at bats (Bill Bergen, .170); most errors in a season (John Gochnauer, 98); and longest losing streak (Philadelphia Phillies, 23 in a row). We may have discovered the poker equivalent. David Sklansky claims to hold the record for longest time between bracelets. He can't think of a single player who won a bracelet before Sklansky's last bracelet in 1983, who is still playing and hasn't won a bracelet since. That's 25 years since Sklansky's last bracelet. "A very interesting record," said Sklansky. Do you see why?

They messed up "DUCY?" though.
Just curious.

DD has a lot in the high stake mix games. I have a fair amount too, tbh.
Crazy! I didn't even know Chris knew how to play any other games!
Anwyay, Chris, congratulations on what's shaping up to be another very impressive run.
