I think I'm going mad or something... I'm analysing a villain so I set the filters as follows:
Position is BB only gives a certain amount of hands
To work out his folds -> 3bet = no, called 3bet = no, 4bet = no, saw flop = no
To work out his calls -> 3bet = no, called 3bet = yes, 4bet = no, saw flop = yes
To work out his 3bets -> 3bet = yes, 4bet = no
The total of these hands ties up perfectly with the total number of hands in the BB. Dividing the number of 3bets by the total number of hands gives me 7%. However, when the filters are taken off and I look at the 3bet stat column at the bottom it shows that villain is 3betting 12%?!
I don't understand where am going wrong...

Sorry but i don't really see what you are trying.
Please send us screenshots of your filters and results and the hands you are using for this test with link to this thread to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and we look into it.

Should be cold calling a 3bet I think? Not sure if that quick filter actually does that. Simple version of the issue if someone wants to try it out...
I filtered by position BB only gives 685 hands. 3Bet stat in overall report is 18.2%
If I filter "preflop did 3bet" it produces 74 hands.
74 / 685 suggest only 11% 3bet.

Okay discussed it with HEM Support and turns out 3bet is calculated on the basis where villain had the opportunity to 3bet. So I filtered by "could 3bet" which turns out to be 407 hands.
74 / 407 = 18.2% which now ties up
