I'm pretty Interested in Knowing how others are using the tag settings when playing online. How are you color coding specific players?tight players blue? Lags yellow? I currently group players into category's this way and just curious if it's the best way.

I use:
Red: Assumed fish.
Green: Assumed reg.
Yellow: Mid and short stackers (not recreational ones but the ones using the real strategy).
This way it's easier to adjust your opening ranges for one. Such as against fish who are usually calling stationishs, better to open hands like A9, K7, Q7 than 45o, 79o etc. And against regs more of hands like suited connectors etc.

I have a color tag for Very loose aggressive (0ver 50%VPiP), Very Loose passive (0ver 50%VPiP), Winning tight (tight/good), Losing tight (tight/bad), and Rock (VPiP under 10%). I also have color for loose aggressive good/bad (usually VPiP between 25-45) and winning or losing.
These are very loose guides for tagging. other factors may change a player from one to another. I also have a Shark tag... play very cautiously and give respect.

nits - steal these blinds/buttons
tag - figure out their individual tentencies
loose tag/lag - as tag but often move if they have position on you
bad reg - calls too much preflop/weak postflop
fish - play alot of pots with these
