PT4 is in beta, HEM2 is 6 months out of the box.
But both are public and PT4 is more buggier for me.
When you have problems like that https://www.pokertracker.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=40826#p204625 it is not even funny.

[quote]I am using HM2 and have no problems, the PT4 is really buggy at the moment, just check out their official forum and see how many bugs are being reported, and PT3 well it cannot even re-size the hud.
Lucky you.....Works fine for me,but not 100%.In cash games pretty well with some crashes once in a while, but in MTT's i have no HUD,and my ''table finder'' doesn't find the tables i'm playng...Any suggestions? TY

I wish I could help you, but I have no idea, your best bet probably to check if you running latest software (like the .NET framework) with all the updates, and if it is yes talk to their support.
HEM1 FTW, seriously, HEM2 is the most tilting thing i have ever used.
I've sent two emails to sales department for Holdem Manager the past 1 1/2 week regarding a refund for my HEM purchase. They havent responded. -.-
Did you check your spam folder?
I need your email address to check whether your mails reached us.
Or you can use support@holdemmanager.com instead
HEM2 has never crashed on me, but that's the only good thing I can say about it.
It is a HUGE step backwards in useability compared to HEM1. It feels like HEM1 was written by programmers who actually played, but HEM2 was written by programmers who've never seen felt, virtual or otherwise. And I'm primarily just referring to the HUD. Even if they fix all the problems, I doubt it will ever be as nimble as HEM1's. The developers fell in love with bells and whistles (widgets??? give me a freakin break) but lost touch with how real people use it.
I started with Pokertracker, and switched to HEM after joining DC, since that's what is mostly featured in videos. I'm either going to switch back to HEM1 or possibly even go back to PT.

wow you run good
I've been using PT4 since the initial public beta offering and I've never had any problems. Best software available IMO.

Absolutely HEM1 was perfect, but I only have it for NLHE smallstakes and they won't let me upgrade it. They said they don't sell HEM1 anymore because they are stopping support in a year for it.
HEM2 is awful and I'd be more than happy to pay $10-$20/year for HEM1. HEM has completely abandoned their world-class HEM1 software to push their widely hated HEM2 software.
Whatever HEM, I'm now using PT4 and it's only mildly worse than HEM1, and way cheaper =)
I hope the guys who created notecaddy advantage make one for PT4
Had another particularly tilting crash today, can't warn people enough to not get HEM2. I just can't believe how many bugs are in the release builds and these bugs are supremely tilting and definitely costing me money.
HEM 2 is the biggest piece of garbage on the market, the developers should be ashamed. I especially love being in the middle of a big pot and the HUD inexplicably just disappears but then shows back up as soon as the hand is over. I've sent emails trying to get my money back but haven't heard back, big surprise there.
i am really wondering what hem thinks of their software. as soon as a post pops up somewhere asking if he should buy it, basically everyone always recommends against it.
not really a good sign.
How come its been out 6 months and they havent been able to fix the bugs? I cant wrap my head around it.
