At the moment I'm mostly reviewing hands using pokerstove. Is Cardrunners EV worth getting? Does it help much with postflop analysis?

Cardrunners EV is an incredible tool if you are willing to spend the time with it. That said is also a very complex and intensive tool. I would recommend watching the tutorial video and using the trial. If you are a micro/small stakes player, its probably not necessary and you would be better off using other tools. Also I would recommend upgrading pokerstove to Equilab (free) or propokertools odds oracle. Hope this helps.

I don´t know pokerazor, but as far as I´m informed, it does the same when it comes to the absolute basics.

However there are a still couple of big (!) advantages of CardrunnersEV:

- way better interface (which allows you to define real models with different branches)
- you can weigh the different branches (i.e. Villain x/r 50% with draws and calls 50%), pokerazor does not allow this afaik
- you can use variables (i.e. Villain x/r X% with his draws) and then create graphs depending on X (to solve break-even strategies)
- CREV allows multiway calculations, PRZ only allows HU afaik
- and so on ...

And ... CREV is still available right now. Smile But obviously the pricetag is not small for a micro-player ... but for whoever can afford it - or get it somehow discounted - I´d say it´s one of the best investments you could ever do as a poker player (if you already own HEM - lol).
