Hey there,
didnt know where to put this in so I thought soware would fit:
I have a neteller usd account and a moneybookers euro one and I wanted to deposit euros from moneybookers on pokerstars and I already have some dollars up there.
Then it asked me if I wanted to convert it to dollars or if I wanted to have 2 separate accounts.

Because I think converting it right now would cost me some ridiculous fees (at least that's what I heard) I thought about having 2 separate accounts. But now what if my dollar account goes bust and I have to buy in to the USD games with euro (because I almost exclusively play dollar tables), do you know if that costs any conversion fees if I take EUR from my Stars account to buy in to the USD games (and to put it back into my roll after leaving)?

I'm pretty sure the conversion is to allow you to play on that currency table. I.e. if you have Euros, you cant play of $ tables unless you convert it to $

thanks, yes you're right, I tried opening up a euro 2NL table and it wanted me to create a EUR account

and the stars FAQ said there would be no fee if I used the "convert currencies automatically" and "credit in my preferred currency", or did I get this wrong:

i have an euro and dollar account and can play dollar table even though my whole money is in euros. as i understood it the conversion between the currencies is free of fees. not sure what exchange rate they are using though and if you can look it up somewhere.
i have had the problem that my moneybookers is in dollars and that i had to pay fees when i wanted to transfer money to my bank account which is in euros. so i think its actually a pretty cool thing. but i think its not allowed to speculate with the money.

thanks for your answer, guessing from the above link I think they use Reuters conversion rates, which I guess is "standard and accurate" but I have no clue about that tbh
