I started trying to use HM on Bodog today. The results were pretty bad. The table layout makes everything pretty confusing. I had one player who I could never get stats on and it keeps opening tables in the table manager naming them my player name. Also after I closed everything and went into HM the money it said I won/lost was wrong. All in all very yukky on Bodog.

Doesn't seem like Bodog is the easiest site to support. Assuming you have the latest release (1.05) I would email support@holdemmanager.net and see if Roy has any solutions -- he's been amazingly helpful when I've had questions/requests.

Why don't you use PT2 on Bodog?

I can probably help you, join the Deucescracked MIRC chat and message me there and I would be glad to help.

Hey Big Owl,

Never got an answer if you're running 1.05 or not. Just curious.

Hey Rob, sorry I didn't realize you were looking. I was running 1.04something. I went on link and upgraded to the 1.05 thanks! I played PS this morning and had short session with no freezes. That was good... haven't been back to Bodog yet. I had already downloaded the upgrade patch and thought it was most recent, but todays download definitely changed the program. I'll try Bodog again soon and let you know results.

Yeah, the crazy thing about HM is that Roy releases new versions to fix so many things and keep updating even as sites like Bodog change the way they do things that I just update whenever I'm going to use the software to make sure that everything gets patched. HEM's release schedule is really impressive.

Played Bodog and it was better but still pretty hinky. It was an improvement in that it stopped opening non-existent tables, but it still had hud probs. Many times the stats doubled up. I just uncheck table then check again and it clears up. And this time I had numbers on everyone. One table the table numbers were missing, so I couldn't replay hands. After hands when it shows last hand cards they show up all over the place. Never can tell what anyone had. Aaron's my coach and he loves this program. That's why I got it. I like it and the bugs are clearing up. Another weird thing it does is after a session when I close down tables, stop timer, then I try to look in cash games, it opens but the top half of page is under the header hidden. There is no way to bring it down to click on any of the tabs. I have to close HM then re-open and all is fine.

Hey Big Owl,

You'll def. hear from both Aaron and me that one of the things we like most about HEM is how fast it's improved when there is a bug. So first off, post it in their forums or email support@holdemmanager.net. I talk with Roy on pretty close to a daily basis as well so I'll alert him to this, but he's pretty phenomenal about responding to customer comments from what I've seen, so def. let him know where the program can improve.

Thanks for all your help. The site (DC) is great and I think you are one of the main reasons. Keep up the great work

Hi Big Owl,

Could you let me know if you are playing cash or tourneys? Regarding mucked card placement, try this. Open up 1 table and then go into HUD Options - Table Prefs and check the "Mucked Card Test" box. This will display the cards on the table starting with AA then 22, 33 etc. Right click and drag to where you want them to appear and then uncheck the box afterwards.

Regarding the other problem, I'm pretty sure Aaron sent me your screen shot and I had not seen that before. I've heard of a few simlar issues with Vista though. You might want to try to make sure you have the latest video card drivers for your computer and if that still does not resolve it then possibly try running holdemmanager in XP compatibility mode (under properties). From what I have heard though I think it is a video card driver issue since Windows is supposed to tell the video card (through the driver) to refresh that part of the screen.

Let me know if my suggestions helped

Thanks,

Roy

The muck card test showed cards from AA-99 and spread them around the outside of the table. Problem was I ply 6 max. Couldn't find a way to fix. I figured out the problem of the top of report page disappearing. On Vista I have poker rooms set to run in XP mode and simple colors. If I open poker rooms before I open HEM the problem goes away.
