ah ok, but without capable of analyzing the values (value of % handkind X has of a range), the free version is imo pretty useless.
But this is not an offense b/c 25$ is of course a very fair price and i will def. buy the proversion tomorrow or so...
the tool is just great and muh better then for example flopzilla b/c you can set suites and more...
Even better than stoxcombo which is no more available and anyways does not work with Win7 -> so thank you very much for this tool^^
Will you update this thread when there are some news (updates, new features...)?
No offense taken, this is very useful feedback for me.
It's interesting because the values tab was actually added kind of an oversight at the end. It was never the core of the program (and the interface reflects this).
Although it takes a slightly different approach, with the free version you should be able to do everything stoxcombo can do. So it certainly shouldn't be useless unless you consider stoxcombo useless.
For example, if you want to to see how often a range 'hits a board', you just assign in to group 1 using the auto-selection tools whatever you consider a 'hit' (2nd pair or better, flush draw or better), then look at what % of combos are grouped. Or set in to group 1 the 'hit' value hands, and group 2 the 'hit' draws. That way you can compare hits to misses, draws to flush draws.

I've released v1.2 on the website. Over the next couple of days I'll be updating the site and blog with more info on the new features and more screencasts. But until then he's a brief rundown of the new features:
- Saving/loading to .combo files (anyone can load, saving is pro only)
- Better chart tab
- Quick-selection from clipboard of board and hero cards (just copy a hand history from HEM, from a forum post or raw HH, and one-click set in the combonator)
- Switch between preflop/group selection modes without losing your group selections.
plus a bunch of other tweaks and a couple of bug fixes.

Wow, that was fast. The site you linked was the one I tried to watch the videos.
There is just no video opening. I have no clue why.
Hmm I have no idea either. Do other videos on Vimeo work correctly?

Version 1.4 is right around the corner. Not 1 but 2 awesome/amazing new features for registered users: equity calculations and full undo/redo file history support. BOOM!
The equity calcs opens the door for many awesome new features: You can automatically get hero's equity vs any range or group selected (and once the calculation is complete, changes are shown instantly in the output as you make changes). Here's how it's looking:
http://i.min.us/imaiEi.png
In the future these capabilities will allow for a lot of new output/analysis tabs and it also allows for really interesting auto-selection features. Undo/redo support will be fully featured multi undo/redo and I hope to get in with a file history tab so you can overview all the changes you've made and jump back to a specific point in time.
Both these pretty much feature complete, I'm just polishing the edges and running tests.
Along with these big changes there's a bunch of smaller improvements and fixes, including some bugs with draws autoselection that was introduced in v1.3.
To cover some of the costs of all this extra development time there will be an increase in license cost; however i'm sure you'll agree these new features still make The Combonator an insta-snap buy! Everyone already with a license will get free upgrades to v1.4 and all future updates. So if you've yet to purchase a pro license, now is the time: get in on $25 price before things go up in a few days. GOGOGOGOGO.
Of course there will and always will be a fully functioning free combonator for all your cheapskates, so bug fixes and smaller improvements will be available in v1.4 free version.
@mike; sorry i didn't see your post before, did you manage to get it downloaded? i had no other reports of problems. Please shoot me a msg if you are still having issues.
