Unfortunately I dont think they have released a Stud version yet, at least i couldnt find anything on the website about it.
Sthief09 kicks off the series by outlining what's in store for future episodes, and reviewing some basic Hold'em Manager features and functions.
DC and sthief09 present a comprehensive guide to Holdem Manager and its apps (Table Ninja, Table Scanner, SNG Wizard, Leak Buster and Holdem Vision). HEM is a powerful poker analytics suite.

I always save my default stats to a custom report so I don't have to deal with it being overwritten every time I update. I just copied the leakbuster report to a new file in the Holdem Manager/reports folder. Then I changed
Report Name="1 - Leak Buster - Stakes"
within the file to
Report Name="My Stats Report"
Now I can add and remove stats to my heart's content without having to worry about keeping backups or redoing my work every update.
Loving the idea of this series! I love using HEM and getting to actually know what I am using would be huge + for me!
I honestly felt like this episode ended up being a bit all over the place. You were kind of stumbling around and looking for things to show off. It's hard to really say how to improve it, but I think in general having more of a plan for what you want to present is a good idea.
I'm definitely excited about the series though. The tools available to poker players are very powerful.

It's irrelevant to EV diff stat how good or bad the money went in (i.e which side of AA vs KK you had).
If you want to see how often you've had AA vs KK all-in pre, there's filters for that.
Indeed neither is information about how you play.
When you were talking about winrate in SB and BB you [effectively] said that by folding every BB and SB (assuming you never get a walk) your SB winrate would be -8.33bb/100 and your BB winrate would be -16.66bb/100.
Wouldn't it be -50bb/100 and -100bb/100 since you're not looking at hands where you don't post the blinds?
Around minute 49 in reports were you can run a "leak buster" report there isn't showing anything up. Is that because I didn't bought Leak buster yet?

I re-watched parts of it just now and I think you're right that the HEM part in particular could have been more organized. I usually do a couple of takes before the final recording, but I'll do an extra run-through next time so I have a better idea of exactly what I want to cover for the entire 60 minutes. Thanks for the advice, and glad to know you're excited about the series.

There are certain reports that aren't available with the trial. The leak buster episodes should be helpful for this since you'll get to see all that it has to offer.
Is that avatar you? If so, you look like Jack Bauer (best compliment I can give a person).

Are you sure about this? I think it just calculates your EV. So if you have AA vs. KK for 100bb, your EV is about 60bb. If you have KK vs. AA, your EV is -60bb. Am I misinterpreting this?

Bah! I think you're right. I'll make sure to mention that in episode 2.

Great advice. That has always annoyed me.

Ahh sorry if I got your hopes up. For some reason I thought I had seen a stud version, but obviously I was mistaken.

Nothing at all showed up here. I didn't activate that trial from leak buster yet. I prefer to wait till you launch the episodes about it. Also it would be nice if DC could arrange a discount for it if you purchase a month subscription or something like that.
And yes that's me in the avatar. If you consider that as a big compliment. Thank you very much! ;-)
I can't wait till the next episode.
