Hello again,

Ive been trying for two days to create a filter in PT3 that shows my win percentage in preflop shove/call all in hands for STT turbos but to no avail. I want to legitimately value each one of these actions after the fact and decide whether my decision was correct or incorrect, whether Im lucky/unlucky etc and then compare it to the advice of the SNG wizard in the given situation. Any suggestions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

this: "shows my win percentage in preflop shove/call all in "
or
this: " want to legitimately value each one of these actions after the fact and decide whether my decision was correct or incorrect"?

The filter is easy: go to filters.
Select Actions-Preflop-Raise All in, Add selected to filters
Select Facing-Preflop-Face All in- call, Add selected to filters

Now select both on the right hand pane and OR them.
This should now cover all (and only) the situations when you ended up all in preflop.

To view all the hands, create a Hands report, insert Hand Id as a stat (you can also add holecards and other stuff if you like). Save the report, run. If you wish to replay them all, click the ridiculously small "Play" icon down right. Clicking on the Hand id will open up the history and replayer can be opened from there also if you like to go hand by hand.

If you want the win percentages: the filter is the same as above, you can just go to Hands tab and look at W$SD percentage (if it's not there by default it can be added). Or you can build a Player Statistics report and insert the stats you wish.

Also, update to PT4, the upgrade price is a steal.

It wont let me choose from "And" or "Or" they are both faded out for some reason.

How much is it to upgrade from PT3 - PT4? I cant find any info on the website.

Thanks

It's 70% off for owners of PT3. That is a limited time offer I think.

Once you have the individual filters in the "Selected Filters" box (top right), Shift-Click on them to get both selected. Now you can OR those.

Actually I think it might be more beneficial to look at both cases separately, i.e. start by only looking at "raised all in", then "called all in" as they're basically very different things (fold equity vs. pot odds)

OK cheers I got the option up, but I still have the statistics from when the opponent folded preflop skewing the results Im looking for. Im going to take time off and move sites because at this point all I want to prove to myself is how often I got it in good only to be dogged by a shocking call (or ten.) When tight players over 700 hands call your all ins after limp calling with 45s and turn straights Im not only questioning my own play but the very integrity of the site in question. I dont think its possible to play well when a person is predicting how crazy the next beat will be.

Id love to get a few players opinions on a sizable sample of my stats, is that something that happens on Deuces Cracked?

If you wish to only look at cases where you raised all in and got called, there's a filter called "Went to showdown" under Misc|Results.

I strongly doubt you'd be able to collect enough samples to prove anything about the integrity of any site.

Thanks pasita think Ive got it working now.

Im not really questioning the integrity as I said just frustrated by a bad run of results. My stat sample seems to suggest that Im winning a little less than would be expecting with preflop showdowns, for example AA has held up for me 76.47, KK is 70.00 and QQ is 68.18 (Im VERY tight with QQ in the early stages of SNGS and rarely go all in preflop in the early lvls preflop, unless I think the villain is a bit of a loose maniac that will shove/call with any pair above 1010 or AK/AQ etc.) Its a similar story with my AK and AQ vs dominated or undercards, in fact my suited AK is coming out a 50.00 winner despite less than 20% of those hands being pairs.

When you are running bad, and the turn in fortune just doesnt seem to be coming, what do you do? Change site, drop down lvls or stop playing for a while? Ive only just returned to playing online because I felt I was on such a bad run 18 months ago! Like I stated above Id love to get some fellow players to look at a sample and judge what is bad luck and what is poor play on my part. I feel at times that I get blinkered to my own shortcomings by focusing too much on bad beats

Changing sites is the one option that won't do any good.

Start by posting some hands, I don't know enough about NLHE to help but there will be others.
