Do people in here use Notecaddy? What are your thoughts on it?
Is it more suitable for cashgames than tournaments.. Does it adjust depending on how many players at the table etc?
It would be pretty sweet with reads such as bet amounts representing different hand strengths. Or limping ranges in different positions. etc.

Just found out this:
"By default NC breaks it up into heads up, 3-6 players, 7+ players. You can divide it anyway you want using the "partitions" tab when you make your own definitions. You can divide it by stack size using the $stacksize variable or filter directly using the stack size filter in the pre flop->general tab "
So it should be sweet for sngs/tournaments also. Maybe i have to check it out

Hi guys, notecaddy is an amazing product. There's so much you can do with it. The only problem is its very time consuming to create everything you may want or need. I've created a complete package for 6max nl cash games.
$150 and "soon" to be $200? That´s quite an ambitious price to say the least.
It´s not as if NC is rocket science, I created 50 badges and 150 note definitions myself in like 2 days ... the time consuming work is not to create the definitions but it´s to truly understand which definitions we need, which are profitable (I can´t proceed 100 notes for a single player so I have to focus on what is really important) and how to organize all the information.
And that´s exactly the problem (for me) with predefined notes (besides your way-too-high price) - information that I don´t fully understand, in terms of what exactly it means and how it´s constructed - is useless in-game. So, if I tried to understand what exactly you´ve done in a single note definition - I probably spend more time than if I created it by myself.

Hi Tackleberry,
Sorry if the link is not allowed. I saw another thread in here with links, so I thought it would be OK. Mod, please remove it if you need. I understand your skepticsm, but I have not just made any definitions and randomly put them together. I've made a well-rounded package that covers all bases. A lot of the definitions in this package are complicated to make, and they must be tested thoroughly to make sure they are perfect. Also there is a comprehensive document explaining how each document works, and a very detailed document explaining how to exploit people with or without each badge. Everything is covered, you just need to install it, read the documents, while your notes are processing and you are set.
As for price, I set it a lot cheaper than any other packages I've seen out there. One goes for $349 I've seen, another you have to pay 2 buyins for a limit, and can't play above that limit (you have to pay extra if you move up). I own the latter package and found a lot of flaws in it, so I decided to create my own. This package is worth every penny and then some in my opinion, but I understand if you don't think so. We have set the price lower for first purchasers, due to this being a new product and risk involved, but it will go up once we have some user reviews.
If you check out the News/FAQ section on my website you will see more detailed answers to your comments.

A question for you is, what would you expect to pay for a package like this, if it had everything you were looking for in a notecaddy package?
No, probably not, just because I invested like 5 days to fully understand the functionality of NC and get "professional" in creating any imaginable note / badge etc. myself (I invested a couple of more days to create and test like 30 badges and 75 notes), so I actually think there´s nothing (or at least not much) left I wouldn´t be able to create myself - and as I mentioned, I like to know in depth what information I see there and what exactly it means - and not being spoonfed with badges / notes and a "cookbook" how to use it and crush.
So, I´m probably just not the target audience - although I admit there´s a) a market and b) value for people to use it - although I´d rather recommend to invest the time by oneself but that´s just my very personal opinion.

Ok that's understandable. I do agree some people would be better off going in on their own and creating everything themselves. The problem for most people is that the notecaddy software can be tricky to learn, and very time consuming to test each definition thoroughly so that you are not getting any incorrect hands counting as opportunities/successes, and hands not counting that should be. If they aren't tested thoroughly obviously they won't be accurate. Thanks for the discussion, Tackleberry.

Per your comments we've decided to make a dramatic price reduction to get the ball rolling with Notecaddy Edge.
$50 (expires May 24th)
$75 (May 24-May 31)
$125 (thereafter)
You will never be able to get this package for $50 again. This is a great opportunity for you that will pay for itself rather quickly.

I have been toying a bit with notecaddy and it is easy to understand and create your own badges and definitions, and even created few of my own.
But I was wondering maybe somebody can advice on what badges and definitions can be useful for micro stakes players like me, 10NL-25NL.
Any one got any ideas?
