I know many of you run dual monitors but HATE it when you try to watch a DC vid fullscreen and still want to do something on the 2nd monitor...

Well, here's something I found that can fix that:

http://jmaxxz.com/

Just download it, close all your browsers, and run the program (Hack my flash).

It worked for me. Enjoy!

Hey guys,

I know this may look a bit fishy since this is the first time this user has posted at DC, and buyer beware whenever running software that is linked from someone you don't trust.

I can't officially endorse the software but did a bit of research on it. I will say this: I do not trust the software enough to run it on my own computer, but I have seen it mentioned on several other reputable blogs, including lifehacker:

http://lifehacker.com/5486698/flashhacker-keeps-flash-videos-in-full-screen-on-your-dual-monitors

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=FlashHacker&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=

I'm basically leaving this as a "the jury is out" as to the security or safety of this particular application since you are changing settings to your installation of Flash. If any members of DC with more of a security background than I have can chime in on how it works, I'd appreciate it.

I do think that bdon22's intentions are good here and that the utility looks quite useful, I just can't vouch for it's security.

Hope this helps anyone who reads this and is wondering and we can kick off some discussion to validate its safety. Since it's been posted to lifehacker relatively recently, I think you can expect some comments on its blog and in google as to the safety of the program relatively soon.

Sorry guys I didn't mean to come across as a spammer. I rarely ever post on forums (mostly a lurker) but I've been a long time DC'er that just felt like contributing.

It totally didn't occur to me that this could be a potential security threat. If anyone can chime in that would be great. I'll be uninstalling it until it can be verified as safe.

Hey bdon,

You didn't really come across as a spammer, I just can see people being concerned, so I wanted to weigh in as someone who could verify your account and do a bit of research. You are a legit user, so I didn't want you to get trashed when you were trying to be helpful.

That said I wanted to make sure people didn't install the app without checking in on it, so I figured I'd post something.
