imac 27 inch computer

can you use holdem manager or pokertracker3 with the mac computers. I heard that pokertracker works fine now? anyone know first hand?

PT3 works natively with mac.

If you want to use HEM you would need to partition a part of the hard drive to include windows or you use a virtual PC emulator (both these options work but adds to the cost some and needs more "work")

when you say natively. you mean it works on the mac itself with no windows harddrive combo?

Yes it works with snow leopard (and doesn´t need windows).

There are several ways to run poker apps on a mac.
You can install windows on the mac.
You can do a dual install of windows using bootcamp where you have both windows and mac os x installed and you choose which one to use when you boot the computer.
You can run windows in a virtual machine(parallels or vmware) within mac os x.
There are a tonne of threads in the software forum about running poker software on a mac.
FWIW, I have a 24" imac and I run windows in a virtual machine using parallels.
