general note: I wouldnt openraise potsize otb, especially with not-really-horrible players in the blinds because they coldcall less so 3bet more and if you raise potsize you put more dead money in /cant call that much ip because of SPR, can't steal with as wide of a range
but even vs loose passives I'd raise only 3x because I feel like 3.5xing does decrease their coldcalling frequency in the blinds and you do want them in the pot with hands that make shitty pairs / check-fold to cbets
00:35 55 hand I think raising is fine (although I'd raise smaller because we dont have that much equity / are not happy getting it in and just because he's folding what he's folding for less), although I'm not that thrilled, just because donks like that are rare (overcards dont do this that much for example) and usually donk/calls or -3bets and usually with a range that either crushes 55 or has huge equity and we wont even go to SD always (we most likely end up checking any turn except for a 5 and if he bets the river some % we cant call this a valueraise anymore)
once he 3bets I'd be done with the hand, for the reasons above
1:07 KQ tbl 3:
I'd cbet smaller because I feel like crappy Pairs / crappy draws are just chc way less to a pscb than to a 2/3 cbet for example and except for that there's not much to get value from anyway on that board
and if he had those in his range you could have even vbet the turn (I think he's not calling that many suited combos in the blinds to make his range ott too skewed towards flushes) to get value from 9x9h for example although that might be a little thin because he doesnt seem to be really loose and shitty because he hasnt limped
on the river I think that's a snapfold because I think otf he calls Qx, might slowplay some sets, some FDs like AJhh, QJhh, KQhh, QThh and I think from that range he really has no bluffingrange because I think Qx thinks it has SD value, the rest bets and beats you
2:16 table 4: fold that KTo, because you're oop and you never flop equity to chr, float or whatever and you can just flop some bluffcatchers with reverse implied odds, not having any info on the guy makes it even worse (he could even by a total nit or passive minopening as a standard with a range that you suck total donkeyballs against) and even if you are good at SD it usually goes like chc / ch / bet and he folds and I dont think you're priced in for that because you have to chf so much and get valuetowned also
2:49 table 1: I'd open A4s, although a fold is probably good too because the players to most likely call you are ip
table 3: did you misread the board? Because if he did have A2 you wouldnt want him to stick his money in, would you? ![]()
btw to me this looks a lot like either weakish Ax (havent seen that many good top pairs play like this but with this stacksize he could just try to protect or whatever) but most of the time I think this is some pair+draw like 33 that will call it off 100% otf so get value imo and dont let him freeroll because I think that's never a pure bluff
3:27 table 3: I'd open 34o because people just like to opencomplete / fold the SB a lot and if they dont, they have so much crap, they chf the flop a lot and that offsets your bs hand imo
I think the flop fold is fine because on a 7 you might not get much value because of the scary board and your outs will probably not be clean either
3:51 Why does the value of JTs go up 3handed unopened in the SB vs 6handed unopened in the SB?
5:30 I think his play is actually not that horrible because you should be value3betting him a shit ton so you're folding to a 4bet quite a lot which means he's making money on his 4bet, but I think 4betting smaller and folding to a shove is better and calling AKs ip because it dominates loads of your value3betting range and flips with most of it and since he's ip he's able to float / raise whatever in a pretty big pot by then and you're gonna be in a world of hurt (which means you might consider cbetting less if he's really wild postflop)
btw if your range for getting it in is AK and QQ+ you are not only chopping 30%
6:59 table 4: I dont like calling with the ATo because 1) this utg guy is tight, it very well could go multiway with the loose blinds so what you do flop is usually pretty crappy because you're never happy vbetting (the fact that their checking ranges will be stronger when they chc makes it worse too) if you flop either pair and in a multiway pot someone always has you beat or a draw with shitload equity
but I do like 3betting to iso this whale, he probably gets it in otf always with dominated pairs, draws and he's also gonna chf a ton I assume and utg will probably fold enough to make it profitable
and he probably turns his range face up if he does coldcall because most 10NL nits / regs dont do what they probably should do (slowplaying KK/AA to keep this whale and your loose squeezes)
8:14 table 4: If you dont love that you hit an ace you probably shouldnt open this because since it flops no draw ever you cant love anything it does hit (I mean every hand hits trips+) and I also doubt
I think a set of sevens or A7 wouldnt play the flop and turn this way (bet turn most of the time) donks are more pairs, pair+draws ime, I also think if he did want to slowplay AJ or something he wouldnt lead or not that big otr
I think he does want to represent just that that and I think his busted spades and crappy pairs outweigh his rare Ax+
also the fact that he snap-acted on every street makes me even more likely to snapfistpumpcall because I doubt that someone doesnt think about slowplaying and plans to play the nuts this way and is more likely to spazz this way
enough from me for now, gtg but hope this helps
