You have to follow a law.
like no playing online poker in US, oh wait....
Do you even know the beluga thing it relates to something quite different
nope
don't know how to quote the 34cc hand, but pretty standard at micros that his bet/3 bet on river is def a flush. Hate these spots but most villains play pretty straight forward down here. ![]()

Pretty standard click back spot... do you guys do this? seem standard for people to make the stupidest plays that are super obvious maybe they work vs people who just fold and don't think?

no, why can't he have two pair or a set? are you raising because you think he thinks the ace is a marvellous card to bluff, so he has a shit tonne of bluffs?

what range did you give this chap for raising the turn? did you expect him to check back a lot on the river?
omg why are you still playing 20NL with 7 more weeks to go?! ![]()

I got up like 1.8k but then lost it at 200nl haha

Our hand isn't really that different from one pair and he was playing pretty nitty.

People are not very good at poker at 20nl, they fold a lot c/r is the most obvious spots that they cant have anything so you can click it back... hope some of you guys are destroying them becuase its like taking candy from a baby.
To be honest I'm very unsure about those "cant have anything" spots. My mantra usually is: These guys do weird stuff, so I give them credit for playing monster hands like that. I guess I should stop being a huge pussy and click it back some more.
I would very very much love to see more example spots on that topic. (like the 87o and ATs hand, very good stuff!).

With the 87o hand what do you think he can ever have he makes it so small he never has QQ AA AQ so he reps only sets A6o A6s and sets are hard to get.. furthermore i think he raises bigger his raise to me just screamed ''i know you are probably wide and i want to do something about it but i dont want to make an actual raise because im scared you will play back and i dont want to lose to much.''
I get the 87o hand... but is this not leveling? Or, did you just assume he turned some equity or had a weak PP that he now needed to rep a set with?
And the K4s, fairly interesting hero fold. He can have a lot of Axdd, no? The river is difficult deciding if he wants to get called or if he wants a fold.

Not really leveling... idk
Don't know why he can have a lot of Axdd as why would he raise if he has that its super likely he has the best hand as im going to be barreling a fair amount... in general i run under the assumption that they never/rarely bluff rivers or make huge bluffs they may screw around on earlier streets but generally give up.
Pretty interesting spot IMO vs a 17/12 over 1k hand

- Villan is going to 3b { AK, QQ+ } almost always against you imo = he can't have top sets or top two with AK for a split
- he will very often x/r this board with 33, since it smashes your range and you don't like the fold button
+ he can only have 1 combo of this
- you block an extremely important card - A
= he can't have nut flushes
- I can't see a reg getting there with QJcc/QTcc and then x/r AI without a nut flush on a paired board...
- I can't also believe he gets to the river with 77
Call.
-
Call.
I don't agree.
What about all that talk about "villain can't have anything" lines you were talking about other hands you posted? ![]()
What about all that talk about "villain can't have anything" lines you were talking about other hands you posted?
Hardly the same thing
I feel its a fold... he showed quads after i folded not to be results oriented
It goes without saying but at higher stakes i wold obviously never fold.
Fair enough...I know it's different, but just poking fun. ![]()
I think everyone is also overlooking the fact that you block with the K
as well. With that and the A
you basically block any type of bluff combo. Just crazy sick spot when there's really only one combo that beats you.
You were offered 36% pot odds on the river. If we know Villain has only 1 value combo, that means he has to bluff with ~~ 1/3 of the combo (or with 1 combo once every 3 hands). There are hands like QJhh/QThh/JThh and other missed draws, your sizing doesn't look like the nuts.
If you disagree with me - that's fine, but I would like to see a "better" justification then a simple "I feel" - though your "feelings" are probably better then mines, because you are better than me ![]()
