Your mission, should you choose to accept it: to outline a video series (8 episodes) and produce and upload the pilot video (Episode 1) in 24 hours. You can work alone, or in teams. All you need to do to sign up is respond with the word INSOMNIAC. Make sure that when you intro your video you include mention of today's cover story on CNN.com.
The festival will be judged by our crack team of experts, and you'll be graded in the categories of content, creativity and presentation (extra points for cool intros).
What's the prize, you say? You'll be awarded the full repertoire of DC gear, including our limited edition 2009 WSOP edition red logo t-shirt and hoodie, as well as the opportunity to strut your stuff and develop your entire series for an upcoming Season on DeucesCracked. And if you're in Vegas this summer, there might be an opportunity to come get an hour of coaching at the 2M2MM house from myself, whitelime, and flawless...
You'll be competing against the sharpest members DC's got, so you're in for a challenge. Take a deep breath and get to work!
GO GO GO!

I am trying to do the first episode but it is harder than I thought. I'll def. give props to the coaches at DC who do this all the time because I've been working on it for over 7 hours and am still not done.
The problem I'm having is that I'm done with my powerpoint and my entrance recording(I used Camstudio) but I don't know how to edit it or put it all together. I tried using Windows Movie Maker but it splits it all up into clips and its really confusing how you trim it.
What programs are you guys using to edit and put all the clips together?

Ajax,
Download a free trial version of Camtasia, it helps ALOT with this process, you can just edit stuff together etc etc...
As to using Camtasia just take your small bits and edit them together with a standard movie editor, they usually come with your computer? If not there are definitely free ones online, i know my sisters Mac, whcih ive used before has free movie edit stuff
EDIT:
GL everyone else competing, 10 Hours to go, gogogogogo

^^^yea thank you. I just downloaded the free trial of Camtasia 6.0 and I'm using the video editor the program has and its 100x easier than Windows Movie Maker probably because the coaches corner shows you how so I guess I'll use Camtasia for now.
I don't know if I should do a new recording with Camtasia to do my Powerpoint. I used Camstudio for the 1st recording and while it came out ok I think it could be better. Anyways good luck to everyone still doing theirs. Don't give up, its hard but its good experience.

Hey guys, here is my pilot video.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TT1Q1VP3
The series is a HU LHE series where i will be working my way up from $10/$20 to $50/$100 over the space of 8 weeks. I possibly play a slightly weak/tight style which will get me slaughtered at 50/100 so ive called the series "From Nitty to Fiddy"
Each video will cover a different topic, ranging from Game selection to valuebetting adjustments to balancing ranges etc as we move up in stakes and play various opponent types.
I hope to cover all the various skills required as we move up in stakes, as well as learning myself from all who watch and comment.
The first video is at $10/$20 and runs for about 45mins.
It is a basic outline of my playing style and my proposal for the series which i will outline in greater detail this week.
I look forward to all comments as im by no means a HUHU specialist, i just feel that there is very little HU LHE content available and that it may make for some good conversation.
Full critcism and critique is welcome from all!!
Btw, i made mention of the front page of CNN.com at the end of the video if you are looking for it, i forgot at the beginning.
Cheers
DS
