This just happened with one of my students, and I've thankfully never had this problem before. I'm pretty dumb when it comes to technology, so I figured I'd post here to see if some of you veteran video gurus can help me out.

Basically, his HUD (HEM) dissapears as soon as he plays the video back. It's viewable when you first open the video, but as soon as the video begins playing, poof. We tried multiple media players, both our PCs and couldn't get it to stick.

Anyone got an idea?

I think it's a setting in Camtasia Recorder

In the recorder go to Tools > Options and there's an option labelled "Capture Layered Windows". That will make sure the HUD is recorded.
