camtasia help
i'm trying to make a review on improva's but it's weird.
i start the media player. the movie playes. i select the tables area. and start talking.
when i press stop i see what i've recored and said. but when i finally save the file. it just my voice and mouse but no media player image! it's me talking on a blank screen!!
anyone seen that? if so. how can i do it right?
thanks.
It could be something related to how the video is displayed on your computer. Try turning off hardware acceleration for displaying video (it's somewhere in the windows control panel, but don't ask me where exactly
).
I guess I don't need to start an extra thread...
Has anyone experienced the issue of their voice just being randomly accelerated?
Happened to me today for the first time and I used standard settings like before (just clicked throught the wizard)...odd
Edit: Nevermind just don't tick the "video has audio" for some reason that's the cause

This is 100% correct. It's going to be in display properties for Vista computers, or in XP it will be under the media player you're using (most likely Windows Media Player) under options. Often called Hardware or Display acceleration. Turn it off and you're golden. It's much better than trying to use the built in audio narration in Camtasia as well.
Rob
yeah rob! thanks, that was the problem. nevertheless i just setted on medium and it worked too. completely turned off i could barely see the stacks sizes on the video so i found this middle way which works great.
thanks again.
