Hi guys,

I have created a video of me 4 tabling crypto at 100NL. It can be downloaded from http://rotzooi.area61server.nl/crypto100nl.wmv and although the file is big (176MB) the server is also fast :).

I think there are certainly a number of interesting spots in this video and I'm looking forward to your comments. I don't think I made a big mistake at any point, so hopefully some of you disagree so either me or you can learn something :). It's a bit of a weird session where we almost never get to showdown.

Weird, i tried it myself a second ago and it's working fine. Could someone else confirm if the link is working/broken?

Download is fast :-)

I play micro stakes, so i might not be right guy to give you some advice but there´s one hand I
want to do a comment.

16:40 you have JJ on the button. I would definitely 3 bet in this spot because you have position
and you are ahead of his utg range. JJ is too strong to just call on the button.
I guess against the (tight) utg range of a 22/18 your equity is something like

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 62.295% 61.64% 00.65% 702958092 7454424.00 { JJ }
Hand 1: 37.705% 37.05% 00.65% 422527524 7454424.00 { 22+, AJs+, KQs, AQo+ }

Maybe his range is even wider. I think it is a raise for value but I would probably fold to a 4 bet.
If anyone disagrees, let me know. I still have a lot to learn...

Firefox3 has got a download manager. Press Ctrl+J and it will open, press new download and insert the url.
Should work.
If you use IE, just paste it in the url address bar and you can save the file.

The problem with 3betting - certainly against that specific opponent (i believe he fold against 3bets 80% of the time or so) - is that he is going to fold almost all the hands i'm ahead of and he is going to call with all better hands. So altough I have an equity edge I don't want to 3bet because that would turn my hand in a bluff. Hope this makes sence :)

I doubt he´d call with better hands, he would rather 4 bet them and let you know where you are
in this hand. It´s also hard for him to 4 bet bluff you, if he sees you as a solid player.
He will give you credit because you did 3 bet an utg raiser.
You also give the blinds good odds to enter the pot cheaply which is not really helpful.
JJ is a hand I would like to play heads up. By reraising you will give him the opportunity
to make a mistake if he calls with a weaker hand. If he folds his weaker hands you win a small pot,
not the worst thing to happen.
By not reraising you give him the opportunity to hit the flop with his overcards without
paying for it or to hit a set with his underpairs, which gets u in big trouble on a rag flop.
You are much more turning JJ into a bluff when you raise him on a flop where JJ is the overpair.
This player seemed very decent to me, he will only give
action with his weak hands if he hits the flop very hard and has you beat.

i remembered watching a vid on CR where sbrugby was in a similar situation (JJ against utg raise) and he was saying that its mathematically correct to 3bet call shove with JJ there.

I would think this always depends on the opponent. Against really nitty players it's never a good line imo.
