villian 3bet 17% 184 hands. was the 1st time i had 4bet him. when he calls the 4bet i'm eliminating 1010+ AK as a default and i assume he doesn't know what to do so calls with almost his entire range. against that range i have 67% equity.
equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 32.212% 32.21% 00.00% 67 0.00 { 99-66, AQs-A5s, K9s+, Q9s+, JTs, AQo-A5o, KTo+, Q9o+ }
Hand 1: 67.788% 67.79% 00.00% 141 0.00 { Jd9d }
i have no reads in 4bet pot and so dunno if he fires with his entire range. my questions:
1.) should i make small cbet on flop?
2.) do i shove the turn given flush draw?
3.) do i just snap river and take a note?

I think you can eliminate AK and TT-QQ. But if Im villain here Im flatting AA and KK almost always. I would think your min-4b is either really weak or really strong and you are never doing this with a hand like JJ or AQ. If you are really strong we are likely to be getting it in anyways but if you are weak I am giving you the rope to hang yourself when I flat here.
But I think TT-QQ and AK are too volnerable and would rather 5b/get it in here.
If he is folding to your 4b depends on his 3b range. If he is 3b-ing a polarized range he might be folding the bottom of his range. But if he is just 3b-ing the top 17% of his range then I doubt he is ever folding to a min 4bet.
Im not sure I like a min 4b here with this hand. It plays pretty well and you are IP Id rather just call and see the flop. Cause it really sucks when he 5bs and we have to fold this hand and give up 1/6 of a stack.
As played I think I close my eyes and hit call. There are too many people that completely lose their minds in 3 and 4b pots (Im one of them). I cant fold this to a PSB when I have min 4b and checked all 3 streets.

I agree with Bonito, you really should not be 4 betting J9s it plays far to well in a 3bet pot in position and if you are going to 4 bet then you should be making it $12+ the min bet is giving even his air great odds to call.
Check raising the turn is an option with your added flush draw equity and the additional FE.
River can go either way - I think I'd end up calling because your hand looks so weak the way you played it and he should be firing 2 barrels with his entire range.

Ya there's really no way 4 betting PF w/ this hand can be best, and I hate the sizing too. Flop is a really easy check. Turn is a really easy call. I need a lot more information before I have any clue what to do on the river. But I guess if he's pretty bad from what you have seen I would call, otherwise I would fold although it's obviously pretty close given its 50NL and you checked at some point.
