I'm an ok 50nl 6max player with decent poker fundamentals looking to start playing HU more seriously. I have played some HU in the past and been moderately successful and think it could be much more profitable than 6 max.
Basic questions are:
what sites are best?
should I just bum hunt fish all day or try and get lots of volume in playing regs? (discussion probably needed)
should I just play one person at a time?

and any extra tips and advice you awesome guys would like to share

85% bumhunting - 15% recorded sessions playing regs, which you can later review.

pleanty of action at 50nl and below everywhere....probs want a decent rb deal...so wud steer clear of stars.

start playing one opponent at a time...untill your default game is kinda automatic...then maybe play a couple diff ones at once when you feel comfortable.

Most sites don't have HU lower than 50nl and the ones that do like ipokerhas huge rake .

Just make sure you play regs occasionally and record those sessions with something like camstudio/camtasia/your favourite screen capture software. Analyze those sessions hard, review with friends, review with software, review some more. This is your main chance to really learn the game well at a high level.

anytime man...was just meaning the swings might get nasty if ur new to hu ...so playin a lil lower than normal might help u ease into it....but it ya feel ok with starting at 50nl...dive right in as ur right about he rake

Depends on how good you are at HU and how high the rake is. I imagine for most people the answer is no and that you would be better off playing 6max. It also depends how much you need that money.
There will always be a good captain hindsight joke after you try tho

Hi guys.

There are some €10NL and €20 HU games on the Entraction network (Noiq, Purple Lounge etc.) I don't know exactly what the rake is but they do offer a 30% RB deal which would soften the blow somewhat.
