Villain is a bit of an aggro kid but not to any extreme he has been c/r flop and turn a fair bit. I think this line is pretty standard but i thought I would see what you guys think.

PokerStars - $0.50 NL (2 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 3

Hero (BB): $101.08
SB: $50.00

SB posts SB $0.25, Hero posts BB $0.50

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero has 7Spade 7Heart

SB raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1.00

Flop: ($3.00, 2 players) 3Spade 3Heart 6Spade
Hero checks, SB bets $2.00, Hero raises to $6.00, SB raises to $15.00, ]Hero?

I think i could have made a little bigger of a c/r here but i was unsure of the exact amount and WHY i should pick that amount so i settled on just a 3x

let me know what you think of the line i took here

How you can say check/raise is standard here, if you don't know what to do against his 3bet?

Your description of villain is pretty vague could you give any examples that showed he was aggressive?

"aggro kid but not to any extreme" is not very helpful Poke Tongue

How is check/raising a reverse implied odds hand on a two tone, paired board "standard" unless you plan on committing with your hand? You're inducing bluffs with a bluff catcher at an SPR where he's pretty much always getting it in good or great vs you after he has raised, I think you're much better off check/calling or possibly leading with this hand.

def c/c. a c/r is not standard at all without some kind of dynamic.

you could be getting bluffed here if villain is halfway decent, since you have almost no 3x in your range. Not sure what your BB defense range is, but most players only defend A3s and maybe 43s.

either way, i fold to the 3-bet. this is a classic "slightly ahead or way behind" situation

It really depends on the villain, how much he's thinking, etc. I'd need stats and reads to decide...

If I c/r on this board it's because I assume that he's going to think it's total bullshit and will spaz out somehow. I mean it's really hard to give any answer here when we have no idea what we think the villain is thinking.

-Is he going to think we rarely have a 3, rarely have 7s or 8s, and we're always bluffing here and 3b bluff?

-Do I think he is going to 3b if he has a 3? Many won't.

Anyways, think about what you're trying to accomplish overall in the hand before check-raising a board like this. Not to say that it's bad, but it really depends on how the other guy is going to play. I'd c/r to induce against random spewtards who will spaz when they think I'm bluffing. Maybe I c/r this flop because I've been check-raising a lot and think he's getting frustrated and is ready to make a big mistake. I also might c/r against more passive people who are going to just call the flop when they think I'm bluffing, etc.

I will re-raise in these spots when I have alot of equity or none at all. Its pretty unlikely for you to have a boat or trips and if you did you would likely let the aggro kid barrel off so raising does't make sense unless you want to induce some sort of spaz (or you want to deny him his equity with over cards).
