Haha, he had the mouse on fold with the Q9 too before he saw the bluff. Bad break with the timing there.

What do you think about villain's turn bet size here when he's planning on going for the triple barrel? It seems like it might be a better strategy to bet slightly smaller OTT, to set up a bigger river shove and maybe have more fold equity. Or do you think this just doesn't matter at all?

What about just going for an overbet here? If he's a thinking player he should realize his perceived range doesn't have that many 5x hands either because we would probably expect him to cbet most of these.

Is that a standard fold with K8s vs a 3b? i mean the guy is 3betting 25% that's certainly a profitable hand to defend imo.

generally, against a guy i dont feel i need to balance against too much, i usually prefer to size the turn bigger when i know i'm 3barreling because i want to win a bigger river pot (more dead money)

certainly a reasonable spot to try to level a thinking player

i'd usually prefer to 4bet that hand but defending it isn't bad

Wow I guess I finally got to the last video. There will still be more videos to this series right? Do they come out weekly?

At 5:10 with A7o wouldn't it be too early to 5bet with A7o since he never 4bet before, or are you anticipating a 4bet soon because hero has been 3betting so much?

Was just wondering because you said it so casually as if it was the most standard thing in the world. When I probably wouldn't ship because he's been playing very tight against 3bets so far, folding 82%, albeit over a small sample.

Yea, it was an anticipation move. When you 3bet a guy over and over and over and he keeps folding and folding and folding sooner or later they get fed up and 4bet you, given we have an A blocker, seemed like a reasonable point in the match to go ahead and 3bet him to 5bet.

It's worth noting that the "sooner or later" comment only goes so far. If you're 150 hands into the match and he finally 4bets you for the first time after you've been relentlessly 3betting, I would watch out lol...

What about x/c the nut FD on the paired board? I think we do not rapresent a lot with x/r line here.
What if the turn is 7h for example or maybe 5h. Sorry for my english as usual... Smile
Thanks

I would like evaluate a raise for value on the the board QsTs5h with Q9. Do you think value is too thin?
