I'm bit confused as to why you say.villian should be check calling with hand like jj here,i understand we want to give someone a chance to barrel there air,but dont we give ourselves a tough decision when a q,k.or A hit the turn.also aren't we losing value when opponents flops top pair or flush draw here and would call are cr,but maybe check back the turn when we c/c and the flush misses or when a over hits the turn?

Given how much syzzzurp was 4betting, AKQ might be good cards for us (increase his frequency to barrel air). When guys are 4betting so much, you want to use more of your hands as bluff catchers. In spots like these, often the worst looking cards for your hand tend to be the best for you against his range because it's so air heavy.

I understand it's tough to get yourself to not just ship (and i don't necessarily think shoving is bad... i think it's fine and +EV, just not necessarily best in all match dynamics on this board texture), so I thought I'd through that out there because I think most people definitely tend to just jam and let you off the hook here.

The biggest counter argument to c/c here with JJ is that our opponent might not cbet this board texture light...so when he does cbet it's going to be some hand that is willing to go with it.

hope that helps

haha yh, actually when i was playing a really thought it wasn't gonna be much good for a video so was trying to make some action, can't really remember but i think part 2 has a few good spots, overall i really really found the analysis that Aaron gives of the standard spots super helpful, mainly the bluff spots, but also the 3bet pot where he talks about reg on reg where our opponent reps nothing > 2nd pair+gs type hand, and we should perhaps have a bet chk bet bluff range to consider exploiting opponents floats. If you do decide to bluff on that river Aaron (44.30s) how much are you generally making it into a pot of 19.0$

vs good/thinking opponents, i'd make it some amount that he would expect with TPNK or maybe thin value with second pair...so maybe like 9-12$

vs worse opponents (if i thought i could bluff them) I'd probably just bet bigger and make the absolute value of the $ more of a consideration, maybe like 16+
