I think Gugel's attitude made for a pretty good video... definitely stimulated discussion.
The heated discussion/yelling rammed home the importance of thinking about these details critically. It's esp. great b/c you guys clearly respect each other enough not to b.s. each other.

Ansky-
You were about to make a passionate theory point- "always remember you've got to add in bluff equity..." -but you were interrupted. Could you elaborate?
Thanks

Was just making a pt that your hand gains value when you can expect to induce bluffs from your opponent, and when you jam you take away that equity.
Really like this format-- for instance you can pause and discuss a vital topic. Thanks for taking the time to make this video, Dani.

this, plus this bit was outstanding
gugel- i would call with j7s to min raise,
ansky- no shit, you would call with aa too,
brilliant
This is a really good format. I like Ansky getting to explain why not to do so many things. In other videos its 2 people that always know what to do so they just explain the correct move instead of seeing it from the pov of someone who is actually on this level and what goes through novice players heads. I feel like I got alot out of this and it is very entertaining more please.
Ansky your vids are always on point back to the early savy days I hope I can afford your coaching someday.
probably my favourite video so far
you really tear apart his logic and it creates good discussion
Just watched this after Mitch mentioned it.
Ansky, you gotta put the band back together...please!!
Gugel is an epic student. He makes mistakes, and provides the thinking for them...perfect...probably the best student ever.

"shut the fuck up"
this is the Dani that I miss!
Back in the day, Dani made the best ever video for PokerSavy ( i think) where he reviewed a $25-50nl game that P.Hellmuth was playing it. Its pure gold! Dani summed up P.H.'s play by saying, " its like watching blind, retarded monkeys throwing shit at one another"!!

Is it ok to c/r with the 4 on this flop? Think are hand is best alot of time on flop but vulnerable also lot of turns we get barreled on.

lol if you think he's floating why the hell would you ever check raise all in with top 2 on that board. c/c c/c.
Your turn line doesn't make any sense with your priori assumption. I mean if you said he's going to b/c with any ace or floated q because i've taken this line with flush draws and turned straight draws then c/ jamming makes alot more sense. I mean check call turn is so much better than check shove. You rep hands like a q or a weak ace when you check call and some really good hand readers or really bad hand readers might just bet shove river for different reasons. You can value both from thinner value bets from a8,at, and aj hands or maybe gain value from someone with someone spazzying. Otherwise bet bet bet is the best line.
the teacher is awesome, ur student is kind like me... do plan hands well to get value just do some cool stuff...
