Villain was very aggressive and often raising with bottom or middle pair. I had been playing quite loose preflop (about 75 of hands) but was playing a tight game postflop and only raising with made hands or big draws. IF villain was paying attention to my play he'd have to give me some respect for any raises.
Was my raise on the turn out of line? Should I have just called and then called the river unimproved?
Preflop: Hero is Button with Th, Tc.
Hero raises, BB calls.
Flop: (4.50 SB) Jc, 3c, 9h (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls.
Turn: (4.25 BB) Qc (2 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls.
River: (8.25 BB) 5c (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.
Final Pot: 10.25 BB

I'd tend to 3-bet the flop. There are so many cards that can come on the turn that will make it harder for you to feel confident about a raise. Either because they're likely to have hit him or because they make the board scary for the part of his range that you beat. As played I'm just calling this turn since pretty much any draw he could've had on the flop now has you beat.

I don't hate this as long as you're betting the river unimproved for value. Your equity has to be strong on this board though the problem is he might be hard pressed to call you down light, so inducing a river bet by just calling the turn might be more profitable. River looks really close to a value raise.

Oh hey riddim. I've played you on full tilt before. You're pretty good.

Thanks, I thought I recognized your SN from somewhere when we played. I don't really remember our match, but I looked it up in PT and at least you won. If you play those stakes at a regular basis we might run into each other again. I have a habit of blowing off steam there because the avg. opponent is so bad that it's almost impossible to lose. Winning money by switching to minbet HU SNGs beats losing money by playing tilty NL cash, especially HU.

I won't be running into you if I see you first! I might have won, but I don't need to play against someone as good as you when there so many bad players out there.
Yes they are soft. I have played nearly 200 of them I think. I have pretty much moved up to the $10 ones but nobody really joins them that fast. I just sit at both and play who ever comes first.
