I can't believe he does not bet the turn. Yeah he picks up a 9 but a pair of 9's is still way behind most of Ryan's calling range OTF.

the c/r is isolation is likely profitable so he doesn't "have to bet the turn" but given he can rep flushes pretty well and btn has a fairly wide calling range vs the c/r it would be hard to argue that betting the turn and often following up on the river would not be profitable as well
