Since my questions got lost in this saga, I'm gonna repost it

25:45- JT, what are we doing if he raises the turn? Obviously he had some bet sizing tells. Since he seemed to bet smaller for value, what are you doing if he min-raised compared to if he shoved?

48:00 K5 4 bet, Krantz says against this guy he's betting and maybe jamming turn. What turns are we jamming?

Also, Aaron how do you not go to happy ninja whenever you win a big pot? I can only imagine the metagame effects as you show a big bluff with the ninja laughing at him with his mask down.

Great video guys, thanks

yeah was just referencing your comment about what a recent omgclayaitken video was about (when a scarecard isn't a scarecard). Not a huge deal either way but hey i love drama and attention obviously!

not at all referencing the 4bet bluffing thing. That's a general comment about the way games play and similar comments like that are referenced in tons of videos.

To me its more like a cardrunners video saying "Krantz recently taught me that opening a wide range in the SB is pretty profitable against most opponents as long as they are slightly bluffable". or "A recent Krantz video was actually about the liklihood of people calling in spots where their hand is faceup. They are very likely to call just due to the whole paranoia that you're bluffing".

They could also just say that opening a wide range on button is good, or bluffing when their hand is pretty obvious is bad. But if you say the latter its a lot harder for someone to trace (potentially) proprietory information back to the owner.

take it as more food for thought tho. Didn't mean to be so controversial/derail.........

first hand - if he minraises i cry and call and c/f river unimproved

K5 - i'd jam most cards that improve my hand (blank diamonds, king, i might check a 5 though) and also an ace... would check back and jam some similar rivers if i don't get those cards on the turn

@A8o

What are you doing, when you are check-raised from this guy at this flop .
Esp when it's the first C-Raise from this guy?

been a few years since we recorded this, so i'm not sure what the reads are, but here are some pretty key questions we'd like to know about the villain to determine how to proceed here:

1) how loose is he oop? Does he play every combo of 69o and 64o pre ? If so, he can have a very strong value range here, not just because he can have all the straights but he can also have all the 2 pairs. So the tighter he is pre, the better for us against a c/r here.

2) How have we seen him play non-premium draws in the past? Do we expect him to always c/r hands like JTo here, K6o ?

3) How wide have we seen him c/r for value ? Can he try to balance his perceived draw heavy range by c/r a hand like J8 for value here?

4) What does his 3bet range look like? Do we see him 3betting a bunch of offsuit trash or is his 3betting range mostly suited stuff?

Having an inclination of those would be a good start to knowing what the best play is. Vs most players these days, the play is to call and see what happens on the turn, be more willing to bluff catch on cards like J Q K and potentially turn your hand into a bluff when scary cards come and he checks.
