I played a short session today on PartyPoker and got caught two times in a sort of uncomfortable spot.
Maybe these hands aren't worth talking about for some of you, but I really had some problems with good hands that face action on the turn so I appreciate every help or thought.
Hand1:
Party Poker $50 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players - View hand 577107
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter
Hero (BB): $79.69
BTN/SB: $59.50
Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BB with K
Q
BTN/SB raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $5, BTN/SB calls $3.50
Flop: ($10.00) 4
K
8
(2 players)
Hero bets $5, BTN/SB calls $5
Turn: ($20.00) 5
(2 players)
Hero bets $11, BTN/SB raises to $22, Hero ???
Hand 2:
Party Poker $50 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players - View hand 577108

Hero (BB): $53.75
BTN/SB: $48.45
Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BB with Q

Both villains where unknown and both hands happend early in the match (15-20 hands played).
Hand1:
Going over the top to his minraise seems overplayed to me. There aren't a lot of hands I could beat, in fact the only one I can think of is KJ.
If I call the turn I'm getting 3.3/1 to call when he ships the river, but as I said the only reasonable hand i can think of is KJ. What's your plan?
Hand2:
I think this time I can't avoid going broke. He could play a lot of Adxd hands like that or any other FD. I think jamming this turn is the best play. Do you agree?

Min usually = a lot of strength in these situations.
Not sure Id fold.
Do you not have any reads after 20 hands?
Was he limping, was he aggro, did he make weird bet sizes, did he cbet?
Any reads would be soo much more helpful.

I really dislike your c-bet sizing especially on the first hand.
Hmm I like 1/2 pot on flop and turn, so I can shove the river with a ~3/4 pot bet. But you are right, I should bet a little bigger regarding stack sizes.

Villain in Hand 1 played fishy. He was limping from button a few times.
Villain in Hand 2 didn't do anything crazy. He called my first 3bet and was folding to my cbet (same size).

I'm not really sure if PP differs that much from FT, but I would stack off in both of these situations. Players make such dumb plays and spaz out at 50NL HU. I commonly run into players who min-raise in 3bet pots as a cheap stab at catching a bluff... especailly if over cards come like an ace or they feel like you've been 3bet "bluffing" them.
Cheers,

I would probably just call the turn and call most rivers in both hands. Although I'm not too happy about it, at 50NL the absolute value of our hand in both hands is just too strong to fold w/o any reads.
I CC pots both are folds for sure.
In 3bet pots it becomes closer just because a min raise is a HUGE sign of strength..
