This hand is on a 8-game table.

In an earlier NL round, he had 3bet me and called it off for 40bb with A9o vs my 33.

He seemed to be somewhat competent in all the games, nothing special. He was at least 2-tabling. In the last round of Stud games he was a little out of line.

Poker Stars $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 2 players - View hand 1836747

Hero (BTN/SB): $56.16
BB: $52.96

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN/SB with A Club T Diamond
Hero raises to $1, BB raises to $4, Hero calls $3

Flop: ($8.00) 3 Spade T Heart 7 Spade (2 players)
BB bets $4, Hero calls $4

Turn: ($16.00) 3 Heart (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $8, BB raises to $44.96 all in

How is my line so far? What should I expect to see, should I call or fold?

Be gentle, I'm new to this Unlimited Holdem stuff Smile

I guess I'm calling. I find it way too hard to fold TPTK readless on a drawy board.

I would sometimes raise on the flop, but the call is definitely fine. On the turn I would bet little bit bigger (10-11) because I would say these are the spots where villains shoving/calling/folding range is pretty inelastic to your bet sizing.

even thou you may be somewhat correct, using a maxim to guide your play is pretty bad. think about his range, which i know you kind of are but being lazy about it and then about his odds against his range

Give me a decent / realistic range without any reads.

Composing a range for villain is based solely on assumptions so it wouldn't help that much. We are basically at top of our range so if we fold this it means we are folding like 95% of our range in this spot which is hugely exploitable.

Of course sometimes we run into overpairs, but I still think this is a call.

I think his range is smth like a 3, overpairs , weird flushdraws, OESD, a 7, 99,88, 66-22 and stuff.

And i really cant imagine that smb. is playing AA-TT or a 3 like that. Possible, but unlikily. So i think his range is more weak than strong.

I would call and be pretty happy if villain showed a better hand than mine.
He just won the minimum vs my range.

u have the top of your range here, so calling is not a mistake. I expect him to barrel all his suited broadways and suited Ax that has a flushdraw. my experiece HU is when he c/r all in here after u bet kinda weak on a wet board on the turn, he often shows up with plain overcards for air or a draw. i dont expect a 8-game player thats not a pure nlhe player will c/r all in with a overpair there, they tend to play it very strong to not give any freecards. Also, all his monster usually c/c here, too set u up for a check raise on the river.

Yeah seems like a very easy call, you can't fold the top of your range here without a very good reason.
