Villian sat down to me, we did not play against each other. But he is most likily a regular, playing 3 tables to this time and sitting at a NL100 Table.
I wanted to play a few hands against him. He stealed and 3-Bettet a bit in this early match.
We got to the Showdown two times.
Once he calling two bets on a ugly board w/ 55.
And once he checked back JT3 w/ A6o, called a turn bet 3, and bet an A on the River w/ 4,05 for value.
So its the 15 or 16th hand in this match and my first 3-Bet.
His stats were:
Steal 86%
3b-Bet 25%
Call Steal: 42%
Bet IP 100% !!
Aggression: 14% / 40% / 50%

Well i know its early in the match, but i expect him to float a lot on this flop.
Is this assumption wrong?
Do i need to just x-fold this? Or can i double barrel here?
I know i have to think in ranges here, but i can only think about Suited Connectors, Broadways, some Jx, Ax and small pockets. So i think his range is not that strong, but also i dont want to go for three bets on this dry board.
I have to say w/ A-High + 2 Overcards i have really problems to play OOP.

With two overs and the super floaty board texture I'm betting here 2nd time and depending on the river probably 3rd time also. I like to size my sizing on floaty boards little bit bigger just to balance the times I have a hand, but it's no big deal in this case. Just something to think about.

If you really think he is floating a super wide range c/c turn >>> betting turn.
He shouldnt bet pairs and should bet no pairs......
but w/ Check-call, how are we playing, lets say 5:hearts: on the River

I don't agree with this at all. I think c-c is the worst opinion here really as we have to play guessing game and can't really make good decisions.

Not true at all.
Only reason betting > checking is if we make him fold better hands, and if he hasnt got many floats in his range.
