This hand was played at a 6max table. I assume villain is a 6max reg because I saw him at a couple other full tables. He has auto rebuy on and is opening most BTN's so far. We have only played maybe 20 hands. So far he seems to not be playing back, folding to a few 3bets and cbets already. The only other read I have is that I stacked him a few hands earlier where he 3bet K2s, cbet Q97cc, barrel Kc turn, and he shoved brick river. I had AJcc.

BTN/SB: $205.00
Hero (BB): $412.00
Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BB with T
K
BTN/SB raises to $6.00, Hero calls $4
Since he has folded to my 3bets so far, this seems like a standard flat.
Flop: ($12.00) K
Q
8
(2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets $8.00, Hero raises to $24.00, BTN/SB calls $16
I like raising here because I will have a ton of draws in my range here and I think he will continue with a lot of Kx, Qx, and draws.
Turn: ($60.00) A
(2 players)
Hero bets $38.00, BTN/SB calls $38
This is a tricky turn because it should strengthen my value range with all my Ahi FD's and JT, so I'm not sure how light he will continue here with no ch/r dynamic. OTOH, I'm not really sure how he will play vs. a check
River: ($136.00) 9
(2 players)
Hero checks, BTN/SB bets $137 all in, Hero folds
I think I have to fold river, especially given that based on the K2s hand, he might be capable of value betting thin. I only beat missed hearts and like Qx turned into a bluff.
Thoughts on all streets appreciated. I don't play a lot of HU, so feel free to tear my play apart.

Preflop: fine
Flop: I would prefere to checkraise a hand like this later in the match because we don't have a dynamic that would incline villain to call down light - we are not even sure if villain is good enough to realise how thin our valuerange is in this spot (a reason why it's a good play against a tough opponent).
Turn: Don't see any other option than checking - by betting we overrepresent the strenght of our hand, I don't expect him to call with a lot of Qx and week Kx on this turn - TJ, AJ got there plus Ax we were bluffraising.
I would check with the intention of calling and probably fold most rivers - when we check call we look a lot like an Ax (bluff or fd) so I would not expect villain to try a bluff in this spot.
With that said I think we need to fold the river as well in this spot. The only way he can be bluffing is if he called the turn with a naked fd or turned something into a bluff.

This is a good point. After playing him for awhile I would say that he wasn't that tough of an opponent so ch/c flop would have probably been a better line with no dynamic. In 6max, I would usually ch/c here unless there was some kind of dynamic.
OTT, I immediately thought after betting that checking was likely the superior play.
Thanks for the good analysis. I definitely need to work on my HU play.
