Now I AM crying, its so good. I strangely like the theory parts better than the actual playing vids, but that may change in ep. 4. Your thoughts, analysis and most of all, way of breaking down concepts is by far the best I have ever seen. I have seen most of the vids on CR, many vids on DC and Pokersavvy, and all of the HU vids across the sites. Although MasterLJ still is better at commenting vids, and I liked his Bluff EV slides better, the way you talk about ideology and overall pictures, regarding poker and HU, this series will uppen the level of the average HU player by a mile.

Depending on how many episodes and how the rest of the series develops, this just might do for HU poker, what Harrington did for tournaments and basic NLHE.

Cant wait till next week.

I love this series, episode 1 was golden and really got me thinking about my game and doing more effective range calculations, episode 2 was also really good.
The way both of you explain concepts and teach how to think in opposite of just telling you how to play is something really special.
I hope there are more theory vids coming up on 2scracked because I really think this is a far better teaching tool than sweat sessions.

Hey guys,

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback again. Hopefully you guys are getting a lot out of this, as it is a ton of work. Smile

Just a note, I've heard from a few people that the thing about the board textures is kind of confusing and they didn't fully understand that part. In episode 4, we will add a segment at the beginning that kind of summarizes the thing about board textures again and integrates the idea into the match, so we will try to point out different sorts of board textures and checkraising patterns from our opponent. Hopefully this will help you guys to understand exactly what we meant and how to utilize this within an actual match. So if you were confused, don't worry, next week it'll be very clear.

I tried to calculate the fold equity for 5 bet shoving the 44 myself cause it seemed so low, but I come up with like 30% or so. Maybe you can verify in case I'm doing something wrong.

maybe so, wouldn't know as I haven't seen those, but this series will teach you a ton of elegance and flair in a politically correct fashion which CR video can't teach you...;-)

Yeah, actually you're right, I did it wrong. The actual fold equity is 29.7%, so we need him to fold 3/10 times.

Math is hard yo.

I just wanted to post a comment thanking you guys for all of the hard work that has gone into this series so far.

This is exactly the type of video I have been wanting for some time now, as it really allows us an insight (and a much deeper one than I had ever expected) into how to work on poker away from the table.

This is a fantastic series.
