Yeah, so obviously this hand is really stupid and why I am starting to hate O8, but I also realize that my river play in the game is often poor. Is this a clear river check-fold?
There's basically no way I can win anymore unless my opponent is making a ridiculously stupid bluff into four others, so it seems that the 1-more-bet-in-a-huge-pot mentality doesn't really apply in O8 in the same way it does in LHE.
Since I am new to the game, I hate folding getting such good pot odds, but I guess the point is that this is a game where your hand reading is going to be a lot more accurate. Provided you have been playing with CO for a little bit and he seems typical straightforward, folding here seems best. Does that extend to folding this if CO is a complete unknown?
Basically, is it reasonable to assume that nobody is dense enough to bet AT32 or Khxhxx for value here and that nobody is sophisticated enough to bet A2xx as a bluff in the hope that nobody had a set on the flop (or AKT2) and that the player with the nut flush will have the sense to fold?
