does somebody play hands like 9456, when the cut off or the bu raised?

Is this a retarded question or is it OK to ask which game?
wot, u dont play TD stanmore?
Oh it's TD. Was hoping it wasn't a shitty O8 hand or something.
Fair enough. Carry on. ![]()

That is ironic, because I was hoping it was o8!

Well I don't know much about O8 but... a 9 is an equity black hole and the 456 is horrifyingly bad for making decent lows so...... fold? ![]()
Also if it's 5-card draw it means you've taken the Ace that came with the 9456 and slipped it up your sleeve for later... so I hope you've got your colt python at the ready just in case.
9654 is probably bottom 10% of hands at O8 regardless of suits.
I agree its a rotten hand at o8, but I would have been encouraged if an o8 hand was posted and given some love.
We don't know which position we have this hand in either. I'd fold it regardless.
Glad I got this turned into an o8 thread!
Yes if it's badugi.
If it's 9654x and you're playing 2-7 TD, no[1]
If it's O8, No, if it's badugi and it's a badugi, hell-yeah.

[1]not as a 1cd anyway. If the pfr steals frequently I might play it for one draw, drawing 3 to 54, and only continue if he drew 3 also or I caught another wheel card. I'm not really a fan of drawing two to 654 because if you catch say a seven or a three you have improved your draw but you're open-ended and if you catch an eight you have a gutshot. So if I was thinking that I couldn't profitably play it as a 3cd in a particular situation I would probably just fold.
drawing 1 to 4569/snow/FE etc > drawing 3 to 45 imo but i fold them both
it's TD seems like the hand confused everybody:-)
Say it folds round to button who opens 90%. You've got 9654x in the BB. Call and draw 3 or reraise and draw 1?
Seems like clear reraise vs 90%
