Pretty much just won the biggest pot i have ever won. But after looking at the equites I'm not sure if i should have got all in in the first place.

why doesn't hero scoop? there is no low hand, correct?

If button has any idea of his villains range its not awful, otherwise it's not good. His equity vs an AAXX and AXXX hand is ok.

I'll take your word for it, but in my limited understanding of this game I thought you always wanted to play hands that could win both the high and the low.

I assumed so, based on the board run-out, but I was thrown off when I added up the two villains' stack sizes (totaling ~$311) and saw that hero won $287.78.

By no means is it a great hand or anything, but usually going to be around 30% equity 3 way. It doesn't play well at all, primarily going to jam it on pr+ high flops, pretty much always going to be in a marginal spot. It's not the type of hand I'd recommend playing unless you really understand villains, their ranges and tendencies.

Got it. Thanks yeah. It may sound funny, but this thread and your posts have expanded my understanding of O8 considerably. Although it was pretty remedial to begin with
