how about just checkcall? we get to get to showdown, see his hand, and gather information, for the same price of one bet. besides, we want him to barrel his missed stuff. donkfolding seems meh SH vs an unknown-ish type imo.

also in a way i feel like we're over-repping our hand here or turning it into a bluff, saying we have Jx - he may fold the weak value stuff we're hoping he calls with, but he may bet it himself when we check

After the hand (14:47) you mention checking back this flop wouldn't be terrible...can you elaborate why? You kinda moved on from that thought

Yeah I came back to this hand towards the end of the video. I think c/c is the slam dunk line.

Meh I figured checking back and calling the turn puts me in a much better spot on the river pretty often. I'm rarely betting the turn (I'd be a 2, 4, K for sure - backdoor low cards too I guess).

Meh now that I think about it betting the flop is best.

Essentially I like checking back flops when I'm not betting most turns but have a showdownable hand. I think 3-handed I'd check back a lot but HUHU just bet Chuck.
