My question is how do you think villain views you? Are you capable of taking this line light in his eyes? The draw 2/check raise on the turn into 2 opponents looks really really strong so when you lead the river, what do you expect villain to call with that is worse than a 865? I would lean more to a x/c then b/c.

Firstly I'm just a beginner at TD, so please help me out and tell me if I'm talking nonsense.

I would have thought that a check/raise at the second draw is totally standard if you're going from behind to pat?

Then if he didn't break on the end I think b/c would be totally normal, because our hand has got to be towards the top of our two-pat range and he could well have patted a weaker hand at the second draw given we drew two at the first. (Is this reasoning correct?)

Given that he did break, I currently would x/c the river, thinking that if I bet he's not really going to be calling with much worse than my 8-6 but if I check he's likely to bluff a whole bunch of busted garbage. When we do bet and he raises I think he's very polarised. On the value side I don't think he's value-raising much worse than our hand, so whether or not to call comes down to whether we think he bluff raises more than 1 in 15 times, correct? To me that sounds like a clear call especially because we're towards the top of our 2-pat range. However I would expect him to win the vast majority of the time.

i think due to the size of the pot he does call with any 8 and maybe 96,95 so it can be a value bet right?

Yes, you're right. For example, thinking about it if he was to break something like 95432 and then catch the nine again I would expect him to call on the river.

problem is that the worse hand he can raise is a 34568 or 23478 and even that is rare i think with that action but if he does it i think i must call. bluffing here must have a history with me cause i dont think he can expect anyone to fold here, it requires huge balls to fold getting 15/1 so even most crazy villans realise that their FE is close to zero.
i called because i always do that with unknown villains but im not sure its ok to call if u know villain is not spazzy here.

Couple things that I think make this a standard hand.

1) We know villain is not a good/solid player just from his preflop play.

2) We don't know anything else about how villain plays postdraw.

Folding in a massive pot with a strong hand given this two factors seems pretty bad.
