Are hands like 65, 86, 85xxx still a standard defense for you BvB in a 1-2 structure (assuming villain is unknown)?

Also, you've talked a bit about some extra hands you'd play in the SB given the 2-3 structure. What type of hands are you folding in a 1-3 structure in the SB that you wouldn't in a 1-2 structure? Say as a steal or cold calling a Btn Steal.

We just saw Fabsoul value bet 97642 in a (Pat):1 spot against 25raider like 5 minutes ago, I think not raising here is leaving money on the table. Add in the fact its BvB, Fab is probably drawing at a lot of rough 1-c draws, and we could induce some spew, I think we should just take the high variance plus ev route and raise/call.

Was asked not to mention DC name so I didn't / wouldn't.

Yes would be very happy for more content to do similar reviews!

Hi Deathdonkey!

In minute 27:41 you say that you normally check and call in a 3 vs 2 spot but fold 3vs1.

Would you check and call in a 3vs2 spot only with 722 or generally speaking with 72 or even 2W?

Could you provide some math/logic why that is a profitable play?

Thanks!

min 47:14 are you "sure" that tossing the 8 multiway is better than keeping it with 872?

Well if I am OOP and drawing 3 it is a near certainty that my hand is 2W, so yes I'd continue with any 2W if they took 2. We would be getting 5.5:1 on a peel, that is a pretty great price considering if they haven't improved our equity is like 40% at worst (as you've noticed I do kinda pull these numbers out of thin air, multistreet equity calculators for draw games don't really exist so this is experience and estimation more than anything else), and they are a dog to have improved. Yes the times they improve we are in pretty bad shape but its less than 50% of the time and we aren't dead, price is very good.

Am I sure? Not really, no, its gotta be near impossible to prove either way. Multiway I think a good rule of thumb is not to draw at reverse implied odds type hands, but there are probably specific situations where I'd violate that rule myself (read-based things mostly).
