cmon man its pretty typical at those stakes for fish to pat K's cause they are afraid of pairing!
Ok maybe, never seen that before though.

the end of triple draw is near when 3 ppl discuss @ 1/2 about fpdb installation...
Is the end near even when it was at 2/4 ;-)?

yea sorry i was playing both tables, 2/4 was prolly the worst/hardest table ive seen at those stakes
Drawing 2 with trips doesn't improve his odds of filling up and gives away his hand. Huge leak imo.
I doesn't improve your odds to make a full house, but it does improve your odds to hit quads. If your trying to make the best hand the most often, drawing 2 is correct.
I do agree it gives away too much info though (from a 5CD strategy standpoint)

Hmmm... good points, but Hero is pat after the first draw, so shouldn't he have figured aces full would be enough to win?
More seriously, this is cruel to post these Stars TD hands where US readers can salivate over them but not play in these games. I hate the way my country is run.
has anyone ever employed the strategy of losing at every session/table for 2-2.5 weeks before a few big tourneys? im trying it out for the first time, and hoping it works. im gonna have to not play much more before the tourneys though, or else il have to win to break even! ![]()
Employing this strategy for 6 month now and this doesn't really help me in tourneys. ![]()
folds/leaves table but converter cannot convert it ![]()

So the guy tries to get me to break a badugi and then check/calls river thinking that I'm bluffing?
Otherwise how do you mix up clubs with hearts?
btw, the guy is kinda regular.
oh my god this game seems completely random
Nervy,
Yes if you want to try this move (raise with an unimproved strong tri to get pat guy to break) it's much better being in position. Then you still draw on 2nd regardless of whether he pats or breaks.
OOP you have to pat the 2nd draw, sacrificing a really good draw.
As played he should have drawn on 3rd.
As for the river, some people call with any really strong tri no matter what the situation.
Pretty confident he just misread his hand as a Pat T. His play is terrible and makes no sense otherwise. Even regulars make these mistakes, myself included.
