In a tournament I'd be a bit more inclined to just flat 3rd unless I've seen him raise/fold here. I'd repop any hand with an A, but he is more likely to have split kings here with the 2 kings out. Ideally he will be more inclined to fold 4th in a smaller pot when we catch good and he catches bad in a smaller pot and we can just win immediately, whereas here we end up going deep into a hand. The structure of these 8 game tournaments is such that you need to be a bit careful in the limit rounds, especially the stud rounds, because the pots tend to be much larger relative to the size of your average NL/PLO round pot. Given that this is clearly in the early stages of the tournament it is probably okay to play a bit more aggro and try to develop an image that will deter people from stealing your bring ins later on, but the counter argument to that logic of this particular spot is that we end up spending a lot of chips NOW by playing a big pot when we are forced to barrel through on 4th street without having much of a hand (ie when we catch a 6, 7, 8 offsuit). Given this dynamic (and given that I usually think I am better at the stud games than my opponents and way worse at the LO8/LHE/NL rounds than they are) I try to best exploit my skill edge by keeping pots small and outplaying people. I don't really know what your particular skill set is in these tournaments.
PS. My original post here was "seems fine" and somehow evolved into that tirade when I decided I could go either way on 3rd.

I suck at Stud Hi so won't advise...but gl, and how are you finding the standard in the tourney?
Its actualloy solid structure. Play is way softer then 2/4 cash. 3 of 11 right now top 6 pay.
Delcross im gunna go over your comments after the tourney just wanna finish it up. Also there is a second hand there i dunno if ya caught it or not

One of my earlier comments you'll notice: I suck at LO8 and I don't want to give advice on that.
Just bet/call 7th, he has a flush or trips there a TON but can sometimes random spazz out. It looks like you have J's up so he might be inclined to value raise worse but it is one of those spots where I don't expect to be good particularly often but the price is good.

I run so good haha. alright
Hand #1: Gotcha. This guy was one of the worst playing tbh so i kinda new that he would raise as a steal. Against a standard opponent its a leak on my part possibly. Normally would raise but you make a very good argument for flatting to utilize skill edge in later rounds (in order probably:NL,trip draw,Lhm, stud8, razz, plo, stud hi, o8)
Hand#3
It was same villain again. Against someone like that that is just mindless agression would you raise for value of continue to play it cautiously. It is a weird line between waiting for my best rounds and value which i think against him prolly makes it close.
Hand#4 Cool thanks thought it was prolly to thin. Thanks for the help
BTW if Joe and Chuck are still doing 8 game series i could get the HH. Some interesting spots i think would be cool to see!
