At first I felt like we had the same hand with some sort of A-2 so I opted to check-raise the turn with my gutshot. At this point I am worried he has something like either AA2x or A2xx with a made straight. I feel fairly certain I am getting quartered here but is it still right to call with a gutshot? Also if he bets on the river rather than checking I now have to call since I am being laid 13:1 on my call and getting 3.5 big bets back on my call.

Moreover should I just be folding the flop since I really only have a 1 way hand at that point? Is my preflop even good, I figure A24x with a suited ace is good enough for a raise UTG or is this more of a MP-CO hand?

preflop is standard, i dont like capping it but this is definatly a raise from any position.

there is no way you can fold this flop..people raise A3x and A4x all the time. you are getting 6 to 1 and you easily could even win the high with an ace or queen here, gotta peel one. if this was just a raised pot i think it is easier to fold but not in a 3bet pot.

on the turn i dont see much value in a checkraise because now your high potential is minimal and you are trailing to virtually all A2xx hands, you cant fold this in a limit game and i would just call down and hope for half, i would consider raising the river if an ace or queen hits and definatly raise if a 3 hits.

Getting quartered is not all that bad and you played the hand fine. You could check/call the turn and hope to pick up a 3 on the river and lead out.
