Wow, this series is just spot on!! Can't wait for the next episode. Who's gonna be the guest coach if it's not a secret?

Also, very good first episode. I really enjoyed the presentation part (not so much the liveplay part where I felt it was mostly about Vingtcent luckboxing like crazy with almost no really tough spots). Please make one in all episodes Smile

This inspired me to play some microstakes badugi, pretty fun. I might google the rules sometime Wink

I hope it's Vanessa doing single draw. I saw her playing deuce over the weekend and I was also playing with bones shortly. Or hopefully you got Iron81 (who appeared as a villain in triple the gold) or Sheebz13 to guest host as I think they are two of top 3 or 4 on stars (I'm not in that group).

Ac9s7c5h in BB against SB open. Why do we throw away the 9? Do you feel you need to double improve?

3 card 9s just have bad reverse implied odds. An A5 draw can improve to a strong 3 card but a 3 card 9 will almost never win at showdown, and can sometimes draw dead.

Like Chris said, most of the time you're looking to make a strong 3-card before you're making a badugi first. The A59 is never going to win at showdown and it's fairly easy to catch a 2 or 3 giving you the best hand and better implied odds.

You guys discussed a lot about always 3-betting 1-card draws in the SB vs an LP open, but CC all 1-card draws vs an EP open as a general balanced strategy. How are you approaching 1-card draws in an EP vs LP situation where we now have position? Also, does this change as your position shifts more towards EP vs MP?

Edit: I also found the shorthanded live play extremely tough to follow because of the fast pace and complexity of shorthanded play. I think replayer style may be more suitable in future videos. I thought the presentation part was a good idea for covering the more general topics that often come up in new games.
