I am fooling around with stud8 and would like to know how I played this hand. I have a good hand for high and no hand for low. Is it worth it/strong enough to go for just high here? I do get great odds. I tried to convert it on 2+2, but it won't let me. Please forgive me for not converting:

Your door card is really bad. Occasionally buried Q's are worthwhile, but doorcards, action pre/post your action play a big role. Against a couple of lows already in and that 9, I fold on 3rd. I can find a fold on every street tbh. There are made low draws(then likely made lows), flush and straight draws, over 2pr draws on virtually every street, it's really just giving your money away.

Until you really have a solid grasp on board textures, hand reading and card removal, focus mainly on the premium low(ALL, 3 wheel etc), low 3 flush, low 3 straights, and AAL type starting hands. These hands lead to scoops, which is the ultimate goal or at least nut 1 way. You'll eventually be able to incorporate a wider range when the situations call for it.

Correct, you have a 9 door, but either way it's still a fold, as you have a high-only hand that is easy to play against. You are certainly overrating your high only hands. Please watch Donk2Stud here and all the Stud8 videos, plus, read Hi/Low Split by Ray Zee. The more low hands working against your high-only hand the worst your equity.
