Hey guys, I hope it's ok to post this here if not I apologise.
So I use to be a 100nl reg, but stopped playing this year and only recently started again (no bankroll so doing 10nl atm to move up). I have spent the last few months playing a lot of starcraft, mostly because I felt too tilted most of the time to pick up poker again.
I am offering to coach you at starcraft2 (I don't play much any more, it's not good for my wrist), in return for some poker coaching, or just be able to talk to someone at midstakes. My old group of poker friends have pretty much all quit.
Starcraft wise, I am a random player, at high diamond, although I compete weekly with high masters players and am definitely on par with them (if I use protoss). I've concentrated on understanding the game as a whole in all 3 races and feel like I have some of the most solid mechanics and game sense in the group of masters players I know.
Why am I doing this? Starcraft and poker are essentially the same game, it relies on solid fundamentals and maximally exploiting your opponent, while being provided limited information. I can safely say that on days where I don't know if my mind is sharp, I can play a game of starcraft and know if I'm in a state to play poker.
Let me know if you're interested, I am confident I can take anyone up to diamond on any race if they are not too lazy and have a brain.
